Mental Health Counsellor Yvette

Yvette

Hi, I’m Yvette, a compassionate counsellor who can guide you through life’s challenges. Through lived experience, I passionately support those facing grief, anxiety, stress, and life adjustments. I also work with teens 13 and older, as well as parents who are facing the challenges that come with adolescence.

I value your unique journey and listen without judgment. In our sessions, I will create a safe and confidential space where you can express yourself and explore your uncertainties.

I believe counselling is a collaborative journey. Together, we’ll take things things at your pace, in your time. I’ll ensure your lived experiences are heard, valued, and understood, while providing you with emotional support, guidance, and compassion.

Sometimes all it takes to untangle the knots in our minds and find the clarity we need to move forward is talking to someone who cares.

Hi, I’m Erica (she/her). I’m a jogger, dancer, and fervent salad-constructor. I’m mum to three interesting young
humans, and grandmama to one very tiny one.

As a counsellor, I’m dedicated, compassionate, and have a profound commitment to supporting individuals through their challenging experiences. Armed with a diploma of counselling, I bring both professionalism and lived/living experience to my practice.

My focus lies in navigating the complexities of family violence, an area where my specialised interest aligns seamlessly with a genuine understanding of the challenges faced by those affected.

With an unwavering dedication to fostering healing and empowerment, I approach my work with a unique blend of compassion and curiosity. Through empathetic listening and evidence-based interventions, I strive to create a safe space for transformative growth and resilience.

Mental Health Counsellor Maggie

Maggie

Hi, I’m Maggie. I have always believed that envisioning a better future motivates you to take the steps to make it happen. But sometimes, this may seem impossible. So my goal is to help you with the challenges you face and to give you the strategies you need to enable you to enhance your life and bring about positive change.

I consider myself a very approachable counsellor who makes her clients feel understood and listened to in a safe, confidential and non-judgemental environment. I'm committed to improving your emotional wellbeing and guiding you through your struggles so you can find your way to a more healthier and happier life.

I can help with grief and loss issues, whether it be from the death of a loved one or the loss of a relationship, or pet. Life changing decisions. Loss of social connection. Stress and anxiety. Anger. Marriage. Teenage bullying and suicide ideation. Facing retirement. Work/life balance. Sometimes it’s about retraining our brain, or just reframing a single thought, that can bring about positive changes.

Amber

Hi, I’m Amber. I’ve been providing mental health services for the past 5 years. When working with clients, I use a person-centred and solution-focused approach, tailoring my support to match each client’s needs.

With experience providing anxiety, depression, coaching, and disability support, I love guiding my clients in building their own toolbox of strategies. I became a mental health professional after experiencing how helpful counselling could be and I wanted to give back to others who were in need.

As a therapist I work with integrity, respect, non-judgement, and curiosity about who you really are. For me trust and safety are essential dynamics of the therapy space.

In my work I integrate a range of therapeutic skills and techniques to support your growth and development. My aim is to help promote agency in your life, supporting you to find your way through life’s challenges with self-awareness, trust in yourself and preparedness to make change.

I became involved in the Mental Health arena because of my own personal experience with suicide bereavement, historical and current trauma, grief, and loss.

I have always been curious about life, human development, and the human condition and I believe that, to flourish, we need to develop a deep understanding of ourselves, our behaviours, our history, our relationships, and our mental, emotional, and physical wellbeing.
